Lipa Later is pleased to announce Claudine Gakundi as the Country Manager of their Kenyan enterprise, in a bid to double down on their efforts in the country.
Prior to her appointment, Claudine was the Head of Business Development at Lipa Later, where she led a team comprising of; Partnerships, Product development, Account Management, Marketing, New Markets, and Sales. Together with the team, Claudine was able to successfully unlock new and scalable business opportunities for Lipa Later.
Lipa Later is set to launch operations in Rwanda, Uganda, and Nigeria in the last quarter of 2020 and the appointment of Claudine as the Country Manager is very much in line with their Pan African strategy.
Lipa Later lauded the new Country Manager on her passion to improve the living standards of Africans through affordable retail lending. Eric Muli, the Group CEO had this to say: “Claudine is an incredible asset for our organization and we could not have hoped for a better person to lead our Kenyan business”.
Claudine becomes one out of the very few women in Kenya leading a business growing at the scale and velocity of Lipa Later.
